Earth & Art MUST TRY IT ABSOLUTELY If you are in Narni or passing through. After careful research carried out among the inhabitants of the town and after asking: "where would you take your best friend"? I have heard several times from TERRA & ARTE. August 2023. I book a table by phone for 8.30pm. The restaurant is located in an alley in the centre, just outside the lift that takes you to the upper town. Easily accessible. Cesare, the owner, welcomes me with kindness and cordiality. A man from other times who during the evening "released" funny, light and non-intrusive jokes (they must be understood). Not being from the place, I discuss the food to order with Margherita, waitress and daughter and owner together with her brother and parents. He advises me very well and I order: Tagliere with local products, mixed salami, cheese, ricotta, blackberry jam, honey, bread. As a first course, tortelloni produced by them with a filling of Chianina cooked at low temperature, a pinch of mascarpone and parmesan, to make the tortelloni creamy and soft, seasoned with truffle flakes. TO TRY! The pastry is rolled by hand!...and you can feel it! As a second course, egg with truffles, bacon and pecorino, DELICIOUS. Ciliegiolo rosé wine. Coffee The comments that rose from the neighboring tables were: "Very good, good, very good, congratulations" I approach the cashier to pay, I thank my mother who in the meantime has left the kitchen, a very sweet woman who prepares magnificent dishes. I go out. The following evening I return again to have a good dinner, I wanted to repeat! I order: chopping board with shoulders (seasoned, local raw ham), pecorino cheese, honey. Unique dish with EXCELLENT Chianina roast beef, pickled vegetables from their garden, ricotta. Ciliegiolo rosé wine. For me this place is truly a MUST TRY! ADVISED. High quality and local products. Outdoor and indoor tables. Clean toilets. They accept debit cards and cards. Easy to reach. Possibility to make takeaway purchases. The brother is an expert in products, wines, foods and is a person with whom to discuss and talk about quality. Thank you for this excellent experience. Highly recommended.
