Das Highlight unserer Amsterdamreise! Das Essen war mega lecker. Das Ambiente gemütlich und einladend. Der Service und die Menschen außergewöhnlich herzlich und zuvorkommend. Wir haben uns rundum wohlgefühlt. Mein neues Lieblingsrestaurant. Unbedingt reservieren und die vegane Platte für 2 essen.

Here, soul food is cooked from the heart by Carl (who also provides the mise en place together with Mas) and Mas and Casper will receive you with love. This feels like coming home! Wow, my heart always beats faster when I get close to Woman with the Beard. Unfortunately they are going to stop making it...... :-S. So I would say take your chance while you still can and visit Mas and Carl in this absolute stunner of a pearl in the Haarlemmerbuurt. More than fantastic wines, more than deliciously prepared Indian food with a twist and more than heart-warming and very knowledgeable service. Don't hesitate, book a table and enjoy! And don't forget to take a JIWA cookbook with you, so that you can serve delicious Woman with the Beard dishes at home.
